Perhaps few know that LighTech, towards the end of the 90s, entered the world of technical accessories for motorcycles by producing its own light alloy screws. Just browse the catalog to realize the vast and complete range of screws, bolts, washers that can even be offered in various colors.
It is important to know that all the screws produced by LighTech are made from ergal type 7075, the most suitable for this type of applications.
Another fundamental feature but not known by many, is the fact that the production of all LighTech screws takes place by rolling process. This type of processing makes it possible to obtain the thread by compression, therefore the fiber of the material is stretched and the holding capacity of the screw is strengthened. All this to the advantage of the quality and resistance of the light alloy screws.
Other types of processing, on the other hand, act by removing material, considerably increasing the possibility of weak points in the fiber of the material.
The anodization quality is also very high and guarantees bright and long-lasting shades of colors.
The entire production process of LighTech screws and bolts takes place in Italy, to offer the guarantee of a quality standard that is unique in the world.
